IoT AI Competition Jr

AGES: 8-12

The IoT AI Competition Jr challenges young innovators to design and build smart devices using real electronic components and AI-assisted coding, no manual programming required. Students will explore how sensors, actuators, and microcontrollers can be combined to solve everyday problems through hands-on projects, guided by AI tools like ChatGPT.
| Competition Focus:
  • AI-Assisted Coding: Use tools like ChatGPT to generate code for microcontrollers without writing traditional code.
  • Basic Electronics: Incorporate components such as LEDs, buzzers, temperature sensors, and ultrasonic sensors.
  • Smart Projects: Create simple, functional prototypes like smart alarms, automatic night lights, or weather stations.
  • Creativity & Problem-Solving: Design innovative solutions that are practical, fun, or improve daily life.
  • Presentation Skills: Share your project idea, process, and outcome with a simple demonstration or short video.

IoT AI Competition

AGES: 12-16

The IoT AI Competition empowers middle and high school students to engineer advanced smart systems using AI-assisted coding. Participants will tackle real-world challenges by building innovative IoT projects with sensors, microcontrollers, and actuators, guided entirely by AI tools like ChatGPT instead of traditional programming.
| Competition Focus:
  • AI-Driven Development: Leverage ChatGPT and other AI tools to generate, test, and refine code logic for IoT applications.
  • Advanced Components: Utilize more complex sensors and modules such as motion detectors, relays, OLED displays, and environmental sensors.
  • Real-World Impact: Design projects that address everyday challenges in areas like home automation, health tech, environmental monitoring, or safety.
  • Innovation & Design Thinking: Showcase creativity, critical thinking, and system design in your final prototype.
  • Project Showcase: Present your project with a demo video and a clear explanation of your problem, solution, and how AI powered the development.

Roblox AI Competition Jr

AGES: 8-12

Roblox AI Competition 

AGES: 12-16

The Roblox AI Competition challenges students to design and develop original, interactive games in Roblox Studio, powered entirely by AI-assisted coding. Using tools like ChatGPT to generate Lua scripts, participants will focus on building game mechanics, storytelling, and immersive player experiences without writing code manually.
| Competition Focus:
  • AI-Driven Scripting: Use ChatGPT to create and debug Lua code, implementing advanced logic and gameplay elements.
  • Game Mechanics & UX: Design engaging gameplay systems, like quests, scoring systems, NPC interactions, or multiplayer functions.
  • Immersive World Building: Create compelling game environments, characters, and stories using Roblox Studio tools.
